I think ODD is a construct sort of like "DEI" — or the habit of misusing the
words "racism" and "haters" — turning them into instruments for character
assassination when pushing an agenda. Giving ODD a "medical" element is a
little more ominous because they're trying to use "health" issues to control
Americans' freedom as they try to make us subject to WHO "health" guidelines
— forcing vaccines on us against our will and other usurptions. For example
they're now claiming that guns are a "health issue." So it will no longer be
the right to keep and bear arms, it will be "we have to protect Americans
from dangers to their health by getting rid of guns." ODD will be used the

I always take these glowing reports of success in wars with a grain of salt.
I've following the Ukraine/Russian war pretty closely and there are
partisans on both sides that make up the reports. Same with the
Israeli/Hamas war. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

No. I think it was the Iranian students in USA who showed Americans in

These Iranians were protesting against the Shah. Soon after Americans
began doing exact same things against their own government.

Before that, Americans were gulping down any amount of manure their

I hit rt.com daily and balance their propaganda against the MSM versions.
On the whole I find RT more believable. I doubt the Ukes are going to
admit they shot down their US made F-16 with their US made Patriot missile
system. Today's MSM report was the massive drone attack on Russia's energy
structures. The RT report was, yeah, they sent a lot of drones and we shot
almost all of them down. One did some minor damage at a refinery.

Even the Western MSM is hinting it will be a very cold, dark winter in the
Ukraine.

I'm not big on pouring billions into Netanyahu's rat hole given that his
arrogance almost matches Zelensky's not am I in favor of AIPAC gifting
$100 million to out political rats. otoh I'm not in love with militant

I left high school the day before I turned 16 and never went back (not even
to pick up the stuff in my locker). I figured I was there because the
government made me be there. Later I got my GED and went to "Sunday School"
Bible College for a couple years.

I find the Russian news to be more accurate also, but that's not always the
case with Russian "fanbois" on Telegram. They tell you every week (for 2-1/2
years now) that war is going to be over "any day now." The Ukrainians are
good fighters, it's a shame that Slavs are killing each other on the orders
of Zelensky and his puppet masters in the "Deep State."

Me either. My views are pretty much the same as yours here. I don't like the
fact that Hamas is willing to martyr their own people for their cause. If
they're going to fight a way, they're the ones who should be in the front
lines taking the brunt of it instead of using their people for hostages.

I've never looked at Telegram. I am surprised the war is still ongoing. In
that first feint towards Kiev it appeared Russia was exhibiting a good
deal of restraint.

I don't think Russia wants the whole country which was a basket case
before 2014 but I can see where they don't want NATO camped on the front
porch. Since the Ukrainians don't like ethnic Russians anyway, cutting off
the Donbas makes sense. The problem is the area has lithium, tellurium,
and other mineral wealth. Russia already has those resources so more of
the same isn't a motivator. However the countries that have sunk billions
into the project would like a payback and wheat isn't going to get it. In
fact Poland is already snippy about Ukrainian wheat bumped on their
market.

As the money dries up I think Zelensky will find Argentina is a very
pleasant place to retire if his generals don't retire him first. After all
he has turned the most backward European country into a depopulated
European country with a severely degraded energy and manufacturing
infrastructure.

Article 5 has only been invoked once since NATO came into existence, and
you neglected to mention it.

Plus recall that NATO's charter is defensive, not offensive, which is
why NATO has not been deployed & rolled forces into Ukraine.

Ukraine provides a case study here too: no former Eastern Bloc country
who has joined NATO has ever been militarily attacked by Russia.
