“Together with our existing rigorous vetting of potential beneficiaries
seeking to travel to the United States, these new procedures for
supporters have strengthened the integrity of these processes and will
help protect against exploitation of beneficiaries,” the agency said.

The program launched in January 2023 and is a major piece of the Biden
administration’s immigration policies that create or expand pathways for
legal entry while restricting asylum for those who cross the border
illegally.

Of course, this is a disgusing fluff piece by the AP. We all know there
are no policies in place that restrict asylum for illegal aliens who
walk into the US. They are all welcomed by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
There are NO deportations.

This is a purposeful program by Democrats to flood red states with
illegal aliens – paid for by you the US taxpayer.

directly from Latin America to U.S. cities dumps over 90% in hubs of two
Southern states governed by the president’s harshest border critics,
according to government data.

Some 347,959 migrants allowed into the secretive system fly directly to
airports in Florida and Texas, with Florida receiving the vast majority

Because it's entirely legal and above board. The taxpayers aren't paying for
their tickets, they have to fly on their own. Before arrival, they must apply
for asylum from home AND prove they have a US sponsor.

In remarks Tuesday night, former President Donald Trump said, “It was announced
that 325,000 people were flown in from parts unknown. Migrants were flown in —
airplane — not going through borders, not going through that great Texas
barrier.”

Facts First: This is misleading.

Trump appeared to be citing a new report released by the Center for Immigration
Studies, a think tank that supports curbing immigration to the United States. In
a March 4 piece, Todd Bensman, a senior national security fellow at CIS,
outlined information he says he obtained through a FOIA lawsuit, stating that US
Customs and Border Protection “approved secretive flights” that brought 320,000
migrants to select airports in the US last year.

CBP, though, did not facilitate the flights, and the program by which the
migrants entered the United States is public information, not secretive. The
article also omits who is being flown within or to the United States: migrants
who are approved and vetted.

Migrants who flew to and within the United States were allowed entry and
thoroughly vetted through CBP One — a mobile app that allows users to schedule
appointments to claim asylum with border authorities.

We all know the MAGA wing is allergic to facts.

Let's hope they all break out in death when they read these facts.

Presidency; Threats Against Former Presidents; and Certain Other Secret
Service Protectees
The Counterterrorism Section of the National Security Division has
supervisory authority over 18 U.S.C. §§ 871 and 879 cases. As great
caution must be taken in matters relating to the security of the persons
protected by 18 U.S.C. § 871, United States Attorneys are encouraged to
consult with the Counterterrorism Section (CTS) of the National Security
Division when they have doubts on the prosecutive merit of a case. For
the same reason, dismissal of complaints under 18 U.S.C. § 871, when the
defendant is in custody under the Mental Incompetency Statutes (18
U.S.C. §§ 4244, 4246), requires approval from CTS. In other cases,
United States Attorneys must consult prior to dismissing a count
involving, or entering into any sentence commitment or other case

PHOENIX –David Michael Hanson, 41, of Phoenix, was arrested on Wednesday
for making online threats against the President and Vice-President.
Hanson was charged by Federal criminal complaint on Tuesday with five
counts of Threats Against the President and Successors to the Presidency
and five counts of Interstate Communication of Threats.

The complaint alleges that in November and December of 2023, while
living in Arizona, Hanson used a social media platform to post threats
to murder the President and Vice President of the United States. On
November 19, 2023, Hanson posted online a series of threatening
statements including one that stated, “#joeAndKamala I’m asking you to
resign on Monday your alternative is death brutally murdered.” After the
U.S. Secret Service spoke to Hanson and warned him that it was a Federal
crime to post such threats, on December 23, 2023, Hanson posted another
series of similar threats aimed at the President and Vice-President.

Each count of Threats Against the President and Successors to the
Presidency carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison, a fine of
up to $250,000, and up to three years of supervised release. Each count
of Interstate Communication of Threats carries a maximum sentence of
five years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000, and up to three years of
supervised release.

A complaint is simply a method by which a person is charged with
criminal activity and raises no inference of guilt. An individual is
presumed innocent until evidence is presented to a jury that establishes
guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
