A lot of Americans, especially a lot of Republicans, are voting for democratic
forms and the Constitution. At least, those who can read Project 2025 and
Agenda 47 are.

>RFK Jr. is going to help with that one.

RFK dropped out because his supporters switched to Harris. Those voters aren't
going to come back and vote Trump.

In the meantime, RFK was running about 8% when Harris announced. He was down to
5% when he dropped out. Trump is unlikely to get anything useful out of RFK.

That's sort of true. You might get Americans to clean hotel rooms for $25 an
hour. Blacks will do it for $15. Hispanic immigrants will do it for minimum
wage and illegal immigrants will do it for under the table cash.

Interestingly, no Americans of any color will work the fields for any price as
effectively as migrants.

It does when Trump's own Chief of Staff says so. And yes, I believe Marine
General John Kelly before I'd believe Trump.

Trump tweet
"My administration will be great for women and reproductive rights."
Is he crazy? He's been bragging about getting rid of Roe for years. He claimed
in his first and second general election campaigns he'd sign a national ban. Now
he's flip flopped and said he wouldn't.

My suggestion has always been it should be no harder to buy a gun than it is
to vote.

If you need an ID to buy a gun, then you should have to show an ID to vote.

If you can't order a gun through the mail, then you shouldn't be able to get
a ballot through the mail.

You say, but what about absentee?

Easy.. you have it mailed to the local registrar's office or consulate in
your area, and you go there to get it..

.....just as is similarly required to go through an FFL to get a gun through
the mail.

And like a gun, you would then have to show ID and such to get it when you
go to pick it up.

I would argue that if having to show ID to vote is a violation of your
rights.. then it's just as much a violation of your rights when you're
buying a gun and for exactly the same reasons.

That is well stated. If one has to jump through hoops for a
Constitutional right, why is the right to vote SO sacred that it can't
have a basic control on it.

Yep, and all it does is insure that the person voting is the person
registered to vote.

A simple matter of holding honest elections.

And yet, when voter ID (which was available for free, unlike ID to buy a
gun) was required, Democrats lost their minds.
Why? Because it would help insure honest elections?
Their claim was that poor people couldn't get the free ID.. which they are
required to have to get their welfare.
Heck, you can't even enter a courthouse these days without ID... but you can
vote without one.

Oh, and I will note none for the Democrat trolls have chosen to chime in on
