It really was a reaction to the debate. I wrote on Twitter/X that I
"liked the side" of DJT I saw at the debate, that's how fucked my
brain was by seeing old Joe like that. But now we have the VP
stepping into the position, of nominee.

Dobbs rewrites this, it is invalid precedent. States are
liable for denying needed abortions, e.g. TX.

Candidates aren't chosen by democracy necessarily, only the final winner.

The Democrats delivered under Obama too, cleaning up the economic train wreck
Bush and the GOP left behind. Bush started two wars that failed and one of them
ran twenty years, but it was Obama who got Bin Laden.

You've been told this before, but:

The parties' candidates used to be chosen by Congress.
By 1824, that proved to be unworkable, so the state party leadership decided who
to support and the national party leaders chose from the various state
suggestions.

By the end of WWI, the concept of state primaries allowing the voters to choose
the candidates was established but did not become the norm for decades.

As recently as 1968, nominees were selected without voter input. That year,
Hubert Humphrey was selected in convention despite the fact that he didn't run
in the primaries.

The aftermath of Trump's irresponsible abandonment of Afghanistan was just one
more Republican mess a Democrat got stuck cleaning up.

Since you have me killfiled, perhaps someone will kindly repost the following:

Project 2025 is the "terms and conditions" of Trump's presidency. Don't just
skip past it and click "I agree".

Pg 696 paves the way for the abolition of Social Security. Universal Savings
Accounts is another term for "Wall Street knows better how to use your money
than you do". Tell it to 2008.

696 also eliminates the Biden achievement of lowering medication prices for
Medicare patients. This is a blatant giveaway of billions of tax dollars to the
pharmaceutical companies.

Pg 584 calls for the elimination of LGBTQ civil rights protections for Americans
as well as returning to discrimination in hiring and pay policies for women.

Pg 459 resurrects the Comstock as the foundation for preventing abortion nation
wide and throw abortion providers in jail as well as end contraception.

Pg 78 calls for Trump to purge the civil service of everyone who is not a MAGA
loyalist and institute a loyalty pledge before hiring. We used to have that
system and it turned out to be destructive so Congress legislated it away
centuries ago.

Pg 319 calls for the elimination of the Dept of Education.
