I think part of his problem is he is wanting "help" from cola.

cola is an advocacy group. If he needs help with Linux, there are
better newsgroups in which to get assistance.

He's also alienated pretty much anyone that can help him, but that's
the least of his worries.

We once had an Iranian immigrant working for us. She was awesome.

I wrote a letter for her to help her mother immigrate
here to the U.S. They were sick of the oppression in Iran.

Had dinner with her and her husband (an American) once. We
talked about religion at one point -- she's not very religious,
nor is her mother. Good people.

There are a lot of American muslims that are patriotic, and
good people. RWNG's, meanwhile, tend to be members of
the so-called "American Taliban" -- Dominionists. (You may

It should be noted that a lot of the Iranians we see in the West were
once chased out of their country because of their religion. I had an
Iranian student once who told me that she and her mom had to leave
because they were Christian. A true sweetheart. I've also had some who
left Iran because they wanted to. They were Muslims and spent every
minute of the day causing issues for everyone in the classroom.

compromises their handling. Then they try to lower the roof to compensate,
and that just reduces the interior room.

I've always like smaller cars. More nimble, quick to accelerate even with a
4-cylinder engine, better gas mileage, cheaper to maintain.

I think DFS prefers phallus substitutes.

I have a medium SUV (old Ford Explorer). Fold down the rear seats and I
have tons of space to carry things. Move the front seats up a bit and I
can lay flat inside (handy for car dating).

Handles fine - plenty fast enough to get speeding tickets if I'm not
careful.

Depends on the vehicle. Some are lower profile than others. I'm 6'1"
and the top of my Explorer roof is even with my eyeballs. Lots of
headroom inside.

Put some fresh shocks and suspension bushings in there (sway bar
bushings and end links) and it handles well.

Then there's the safety of SUVs.
