I'd mentioned Kali. I've only skimmed the pdf but it looks like a good
coverage of the tools and techniques for pentesting with Kali. It's not
about the distro per se but Kali is an easy install and is even on the
list of WSL versions.

The download asks for an email and a few questions. Be creative.

I used my legit business email. I've gotten some of their other freebies
