The late Jon Postel once formulated a principle to guide the specification
and implementation of network protocols: “be conservative in what you
produce, and liberal in what you accept”.

This is one of the key principles underlying the Internet as we know it
today. It’s what allows humanity to communicate among itself over the
entire planet.

Do you think this would be a good principle to follow in politics, as
