https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13918213/Virginia-toilet-paper-bulk-Covid-dockworkers-strike.html

Alarmed Virginia residents have rushed out to their nearest
grocery stores to panic buy bulk rolls of toilet paper.

In an eerie flashback to the Covid-19 pandemic, images and
videos show dozens of worried locals stocking up on home
essentials as port workers across the country go on strike.

Earlier this week, the International Longshoremen's Association,
which represents approximately 45,000 dock workers, announced
they were protesting against the automation of gates, cranes
and container-moving trucks.

.. . .

Actually ... yer TP is surely Made In USA and
this strike won't cause a problem there. Yet
there's this weird weird psychology we first
saw with Covid - TP ! TP ! TP ! AAaaauggh !!!

I wonder how many middle-aged women still have
half a CLOSET full of TP they bought back during
the Covid thing ? I'd see 'em come out of the
stores with TWO carts absolutely PACKED. So nuts !

Now some cool electronic stuff or exotic euro
fashions or that new custom Mercedes or French
wines or olive oil or weird S.American fruits ...
THERE you're not gonna be happy. Some will
re-route thru the west coast (overloading their
facilities alas) or even thru Mexico & Canada.

Meanwhile, no prez candidates wants to TOUCH this
thing - poison either way alas. Trump can at least
say it's not his fault - Joe and K get the shit.

They use crunched-up newspaper or wash-&-reuse corncob. Americans might
have to do the same, soon.

It's just a WEIRD psychology that seemed to come out
of nowhere. I've seen it personally - most always
middle-aged women - big shopping carts just
overflowing with TP, one cart in each hand. Is there
a hidden epidemic of the runs amongst middle-aged
women nobody's talking about ???

Today's news shows the TP (and paper towel) freak-out
is picking up speed - big warehouse stores with totally
empty shelves.

Anyway, if Vlad wants to destroy the USA from within,
attack the TP supply chain :-)

You *experience* weird psychology personally. All racist Nazis do, especially
those that pose as pseudo-sages.

It makes perfect sense to stock up on something if you anticipate it will be in
short supply. One reason for such anticipation is if you learn that other people
are or will be panic-buying the good in question.

I recall early in the pandemic going to the store and seeing no toilet paper
available; the shelves were empty. Fortunately, we had a large Costco bag of the
stuff (because large quantities is all Costco sells), and there were only two of
us at home, so we were set.

Fortunately for Trumpswabs, you're all very well prepared for an eventuality
like this. You already lick Trump's asshole, so licking the assholes of one
another will come naturally to you.

Yep.
Same here.
I confess I purchased some on Amazon before the strike.
And the price at the time, like 2 weeks ago, was excellent.

Amazon ??? That's CHEATING ! :-)

Sometimes you need to get out, feel the noize !

Anyway, at the moment, the PRICE is irrelevant - none
to be had on the shelves. I do keep a stack of old
newspapers, just in case :-)

So ... when people do something you don't want them to do, like buy more toilet
paper than you think they should, you want the authorities to pass a rule/law
about it?

How nanny state of you!

I know you won't see this because you, like pothead, are a coward who has me
filtered. But other people will see it and they will laugh at Republicans
abandoning their core values.
