Vlolume disappears when I'm not looking.

Is it possible that when I switch from playing the phone through the car
radio to not doing that, it might lower the volume all the way, so as
not to burst someone's eardrums.

Or any switch from one bluetooth destination to another, or to none?

This would be a good idea but they don't have to lower it to zero.

I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro. Would this be a Xiaomi-only feature?

When using earbuds on some of my tablets they automatically lower the
volume after an hour or so, so I have to turn it back up. The resulting
popup claims the high volume may damage my ears. Problem is my ears are
already old and damaged which is why I have to set it high in the first
place... :-/

After an hour or so. Interesting. What I asaw, I remember now, is that
when changing where t he bluetooth went to, or maybe changing from
bluetooth to earbuds or vv. the volume setiting dropped to zero. I think
that happened again and I annoyed a friend of mine at work 6 times, not
knowing he was aansering the phone each time.
