What apps do you have that UPDATE themselves or they stop working?
I have two:
a. WhatsApp (insisted on an update today)
b. App Finder (always checks for an update when it is executed)

Both these apps require the Internet, so maybe that's how they do it?

I miss that my Groundhog newsreader stopped transmitting around Android
9. I still use it on receive cause it's still the best IMO. My other
Android newsreader PhoNews is a PITA to use and doesn't easily post to
more than one group (perhaps a good thing?). So when I want to say
something, it's back to my good old (gasp non-Android) newsreader T-Bird...
