I got a notification of a story
"Accused Mastermind gets Deal To Avoid....
Download size requires wifi.

And in the upper left corner it says Downloads.

I don't want big files, I don't want files I didn't ask for, and I don't
want notifications unless I win the Irish Sweepstakes.

So I long tap the notification and tap More, and under Downloads are a
bunch of switches. At the top is
Show notifications (in grey, not black) and it's turned on, it's
light blue, not dark blue like all the others, and tapping it doesn't
turn it off.

How can I turn off the notification? or stop this in some other way?
Please.

I should have said that the phone is a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro running
Android 11.
