V14 spoke of a prophet that was coming, which shows they were expecting the
prophesies to be fulfilled.

V15 Does speak of what Jesus perceived in His Spirit, that they were going to
come and take him by ‘force’, to make him a king. So he vacated the
premises. When I read your comment I was looking for a scripture that spoke
of the people in the act of doing that, and so I missed this one, and should
not have even tho I read it three times. Yes, Jesus knew their thoughts and
selfish intentions to force the hand of God.

He denied them the opportunity of the attempt to do so. He did not reject any
offer.

He, along with the saints will rule from Jerusalem, and there will be the
fourth temple.

Psalms 2 speaks of the rulership of Jesus as he sits on the throne of David
in Jerusalem.
Isaiah 2 starts off speaking of the rulership of Jesus in the last days.

Isa 2:2 (KJV) And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain
of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and
shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

Ezekiel also references the last days and the rulership of Jesus from Israel.

Ezk 20:40 (KJV)For in mine holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of
Israel, saith the Lord GOD, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them
in the land, serve me: there will I accept them, and there will I require
your offerings, and the first fruits of your oblations, with all your holy
things.

Ezekiel specs speciftcly regarding the New temple of God that will be built
for the last thousand years of this earth. It also lays out the land of
Israel according to the promises that are to be fulfilled which God gave to
Abraham. How the future nation of Israel will be laid out, It also shows the
exact measurements and layout of the 4th Temple of God.

It also lays out what happens to the nations of the heathens who do not come
to worship Jesus at the appointed times.

You should find this very interesting for the future rulership of Jesus upon
the throne of David, the Levites, because of their sins will drop in rank and
authority and the Zadok's will be the priests of the Lord.

Which happened 70 years later.

Read Ezekiel you will be greatly surprised.

God IS going to fulfill all his promises to Israel and establish them over
ALL nations of this earth.
When the snatching away of the ekklesia from this earth takes place, then the
70th week of the prophecy of Daniel takes place, which includes therein the
“Day of the Lord” and then the promises of Jesus made to the Israelites,
not because of their righteousness but solely because God honors HIS word to
them, as they repented for killing him on the cross at Calvary with GREAT
SORROW.
