Heh, heh ... the other day The Pope said that seminaries
should not accept homosexual men ... saying that there
are too many (Italian street term for "faggots") there
already.

The next day he apologized.

But SHOULD he have ? His Italian is not 100% but the
IDEA was clear enough.

Admittedly, for over 1000 years, people have dumped
their gay sons with the monks so they'd disappear
and not be a family shame. Gay daughters - to some
abusive convent ... same idea. If they weren't
gonna make tons of grand-kids there was no USE
for them, so let The Church deal. So, always plenty
of faggotry in such places.

Islam, long quiet, was revived by going ultra-fundy,
9th-century hard-ass. The HRCC though seems intent
on being "woke" even if it undercuts ancient doctrine
teachings and traditions. As such it MEANS less, STANDS
for less, in practical terms and keeps losing members.

Sorry, but those kinds of religions seem to need
hard-asses, zealots, to survive. If you want flex,
try Buddhism or Confucius or something or just
dump the religious crap entirely.
