He did do that, and that was part of what Israel agreed to should they not
walk properly unto the Lord.
It is a full part of the Blessing for those that follow the Law, and the
Curses that are for those who do not.

This was not for the Gentile as they were not under the covenant of Sin and
Death.

They voted for it. Jesus undid that by his death and resurrection.

Your point is out of context, especially in regards to cancer.

Because of people like yourself and your false decrees, people should
investigate the truth for themselves, and the story pole of truth in writing
are the scriptures.

The answer is:

The Noatic flood is clearly a myth about God, because we know that
if there is a loving God, He would not kill all the babies and
puppies and kittens, etc., in the world. In fact, even suggesting that
God would do such a thing is a _slander_ against God.

We also know that cramming all the land animals onto a big boat
to survive a flood is nothing more than a fantasy.

We also know there is no evidence of a world-wide flood, in any event.

Bibidolatrous online preachers tie themselves up in knots with
their defenses of biblical inerrancy.

Yes, you are.

But maybe I'm being too hasty. Let's see your thesis. I'm
very curious why you think you know better than the
established scholars.

"...most scholars have accepted that this portion [ the earliest -c ] of
the book was composed in Jerusalem in the 7th century BC in the context of
religious reforms advanced by King Hezekiah (reigned c. 716–687 BC),[19]

I thought you knew your Bible? Maybe you should learn more about it. At
that last link, you can go read an actual scholarly dissection of
Deuteronomy. (Isn't the Net wonderful?)

explain why. if there's a God who had a message for mankind so important
that our eternal destiny depended on it, why would what he wanted us to
know not be written precisely ? he did it with the 10 commandments,
according to your belief. why not in Jesus' time? we do not have one
word recorded by Jesus anywhere. (that we know of.) it beggars belief
that the message would be entrusted to hearsay decades after the events.

that is the most logical conclusion

Gen 6:5-8 (KJV)

5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that
every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved
him at his heart.

7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of
the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the
air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD

God said otherwise.

There are sea shells, etc in the tops of the highest mountains. The half life
of the earths gravitational field shows the interruption. And there are
numerous other evidences. All of which I have shown in this group many many
years ago. Plus, I believe the word of God in all such matters.

For this reason many should go back to the original languages to see what it
really says, and then retranslated it into todays English understandings, but
far better than that is to listen to the Holy Spirit who will lead those that
walk in the spirit of God into truth and understanding, and what could be
better than getting the word of God from the source of it all.

O have no thesis on this or any topic of the Lord.

Read a red letter edition of the Bible to see the words of Jesus that was
recorded, however, the red letter editions often miss ALL of what Jesus
actually spoke. And besides that, the words that Jesus spoke were the words
His Heavenly Father gave him to speak, and all scripture comes from the
Father 1 Tim 3:16 IIRC.

You will have full proof and truth upon your death.

There are health principles in the Bible, which
if followed,.......would prevent many a disease.

" He said, “If thou wilt diligently hearken to the
voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that
which is right in His sight,

"and wilt give ear to His commandments and
keep all His statutes, I will put none of these
diseases upon thee which I have brought upon
the Egyptians; for I am the Lord that healeth
thee.” ~ Exodus 15:26

bullshit. it's an impossibility. you only say you believe it because you
have to because it's in the bible. if it wasn't a biblical story you
wouldn't give it a second thought.

whoopdedoo! there are various civilizations that never experienced a
flood. that alone knocks you out of the ball game. it was simply a
regional flood that grew into the myth of a world wide flood.

how would you know? as I said if Jesus had bothered to write down what
his message was, what it was god (supposedly) wanted us to know, all
this discussion and controversy would be avoided. there's no sound why a
god who had a message for mankind would not do that.

I won't exist after my death, and neither will you, or anyone for that

That's remarkable, since you quoted part of it just
upthread.

Nonsense. You live, breathe, and post theology.

No you wouldn't. Otherwise you would admit that the
bible's acceptance of slavery is immoral, and that
literal acceptance of the Flood myth defies reason.

The key elements of slavery are ownership of a human, and
involuntary servitude. When people refer to "wage
slavery", that's just a metaphor. It isn't meant
literally. But you know that, so you are just weaseling.

No homeless vet is offering to sell himself for food. You
are being dishonest to suggest that.

You are on the wrong side, Robert, the side of evil.
At this point, reasonable people would stop digging.

God is God in all His Being.

Jesus is the everlasting Father, Jesus is God, Jesus is the Lord. John
10:30  I and Father are one. If you can't see that the Lord Jesus is the
everlasting Father you are not born again and can't see the Kingdom of God.

Colossians 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were
YET sinners, Christ died for us.

Jeremiah 10:23 O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it
is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

Psalms 53:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt
are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.

Proverbs 12:15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that
hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.

"To seek your own will is to seek your own glory."

"If God is not first in everything He is not first in anything."

"What makes the bible the truth? The resonance (voice, the Person) of
God. When you find Him you have found the author."

"All men were born sinners. Why? Because all men were born not loving
God with all their heart, soul, and mind. An abomination. Therefore,
sin is not what you do; it is what you are."

"Compromise will condemn you."

"There are no sinners in Christ Jesus."

"My sons are born of Me. In them is no darkness at all."

"You can't learn righteousness. Haven't you had enough time already to
know that?"

"The way of truth is the testimony of life."

"I merely speak the truth, what is revealed to me, and the cards fall
where God intends."

"Nothing that is produced is produced without first being faith."

It has everything to do with religion, since you are
defending the bible's acceptance of slavery.

So what? If every media outlet covers the alleged
players' alleged claims, does that make them right?

Any NFL player is free to quit in the middle of first
down. There are zillions of kids chomping at the bit to
become NFL "slaves".

You defended the bible's acceptance of slavery. So yeah,
you did intimate it's justified.

Robert, do you agree that slavery is immoral, and was
always immoral?

Yes or no.

You quoted it above.

Feel silly much?

God is God in all His Being.

is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

Haven't you had enough time already to
know that?"

"I merely speak the truth, what is revealed to me, and the cards fall
where God intends."

"Nothing that is produced is produced without first being faith."

The reason for this is well known. You've surely been
told before. Hint: it wasn't a flood.

How do you explain the high mountains that don't have any
marine fossils? Or lowlands without marine fossils, for
that matter? Look that up in your bible.

You mean the earth's magnetic field. This is a standard
creationist canard. The geomagnetic field is not in
long-term decay and it wasn't "interrupted" by a flood.

Lying for Jesus isn't evidence.

Now there's the real heart of your problem.

God created everything, including you, and life and death.

You get a choice, disease (your own ways) or Him.

You made your choice when you chose to set yourself above Him.

In the Name of Jesus

God is God in all His Being.

Jesus is the everlasting Father, Jesus is God, Jesus is the Lord. John
10:30  I and Father are one. If you can't see that the Lord Jesus is the
everlasting Father you are not born again and can't see the Kingdom of God.

"You can only find proof of God through faith because that is how we all
live, by faith."

"It is not what you do that matters, it is how you treat Me."

ahead."

"You cannot be free and free indeed with guilt in your heart."
