culture are *shit*. I've noted here many times: Russians *want* to be ruled by
an autocrat, rather than governed by accountable leaders. There are two
fundamental tenets of republicanism: "the people" are considered to be
sovereign, but in order to have and to exercise sovereignty, there needs to be
civic virtue. Civic virtue is often defined as "a willingness to put the needs
of the community ahead of one's own." That doesn't mean a person must completely
subordinate himself to the community. It means a person has to recognize that
working to create a stable, healthy and thriving community benefits *himself* as
well as others. Russians are *completely* lacking in civic virtue.

This is a massive defect in the Russian national character, and why Russians
deserve to die by the millions in an economic collapse. All right thinking
people want famine and pestilence to ravage Russia, and for tens of millions of
Russians to die from it and litter the streets.
