as a "slave wage" — slaves were not paid *any* wage at all.

The wages immigrants are paid are wages they agree to. They consider the
opportunity better than whatever their best opportunity in their home country
was. Are they better off working for what Americans consider to be a low wage
harvesting crops in the U.S., or are they better off earning *no* wage in their
home country because there's no work for them. Clearly, they are better off
harvesting crops in the U.S. If *they* didn't consider themselves better off,
they wouldn't be doing that.

Deport them all, and *then* see what happens to grocery prices. The prices will
skyrocket. This, of course, is why the lying shitbag Orange Fat Fuck is not
going to deport them. He won't. Bet on it.
