LA really wants to put big "10 Commandments"
momuments in every school. However a federal
judge - reputed to be quite conservative -
blocked that plan yesterday ... said the
intent was "overtly religious" and intended
to promote a specific religion and thus NOT
in keeping with the intent of the 1st amendment.

Good call.

The INTENT here is clear.

Just because Trump got elected, because Wokie
is fading away, is NO excuse to go all Taliban.

The pressure to "Christianize" the USA more than
it already is has been going on since the 1950s.
The original aim, sponsored by the govt, was
intended to counteract the "godless commies"
during the cold war. The State wanted to create
lots of stalwart "Christian soldiers".

IMHO it created more atheists/agnostics than ever.

Forcing religion down people's throats is what
the ayatollahs and Taliban does.

Oh, LA claims Moses was "the first law-giver",
but the Code Of Hammurabi and Code Of Ur-Nammu
considerably pre-date Moses. Egypt, pre-Moses,
also had laws and law-givers. Once you get maybe
1000 people in one place you need laws and
law-givers.
