Kremlin Girl / Bit of Nothingness keeps bullshitting about Trump's trial being
about some "underlying" crime. It is not an "underlying" crime. It is a
*further* crime that the falsification of business records was intended to
conceal. Under New York law, misdemeanors committed in an effort to commit or
conceal some other crime can be prosecuted as felonies, and the subsequent crime
doesn't even need to be proved to have occurred, nor is it necessary to show
that the person who committed the misdemeanors is the one who committed the
subsequent crime.

KG/BoN further fucks it up by blabbering about Trump being "prosecuted" for some
alleged federal offense. But Bragg is alleging a *state* election crime that
Trump was trying to conceal by paying the hush money.

And once again, the crime that was being concealed does not even have to have
been committed at all, and not necessarily committed by Trump. It's just the
effort to conceal another crime that makes the business record falsification
charges felonies.

It's the law. If Kremlin Girl / Bit of Nothingness doesn't like the law, she
should ask someone in the New York state legislature to introduce legislation to
repeal it.
