The cost of living is *not* going down. "Disinflation" is not *deflation*.
Prices — i.e., the nominal cost of living — are still rising. They're just
rising at a much slower rate than they were in 2022. Bloomberg says that the
inflation rate has fallen from 9.1% in 2022 to 3.2% today. That's true, and it's
a good thing, but it does *not* mean that prices aren't rising. Prices *are*
rising, just at a much lower rate.
