That we should walk the talk, all the time before all people, not just giving
lip service.

Perfect. Jesus looks inward, at our heats, for our motive, intent, our
reasoning for doing what we are doing.

Just go through the OT, see those that God declared were perfect before him.
Look at their lives, their frailties, what they did, both the good and the
bad, and then think about why he considered them perfect.

Jesus told us to ‘be perfect’. Look at all the false arguments, excuses,
and self-justification that went on after my comments in other posts of mine
over the years regarding what Jesus said, and not once did anyone ask an
honest question regarding it and the understanding of it.

The last video I posted is a personal testimony, I called it ‘beyond the
vail’ a reference to one of his comments there. He included a staggering
about of info in that video. So well worth the time to see it all.

cross of the Lord Jesus of no effect and of no value. He is lying and

Michael, that is what he said he was, as a pastor before he died. That is why
he was so shocked to find out that “after doing all the right things”, he
was not.

You are are shifting the goal posts of what he meant. He definitely meant
what it was that I answered, but you appear to have shifted that altogether
to mean his current life with God, not his prior life as a do-gooder/works
type of guy.

If you mean things other than what is the original context, then you should
allude to that, if you want smooth communication with other people. I
understand his change, as well as why. What he came to realize is what was
written in scripture, and focused on in the Gospels as well as Revelations.

What he said that God told him clarified to me on a much broader scale what
Jesus meant when he said that there would be many in the time of Judgment who
called him Lord, yet never made him their Lord. Did works in his name, like
healings and miracles, yet he never knew them. Many might wonder how that
could be, but the Bible clearly teaches that there is authority in the name
of Jesus, power in his name, and that his name is above all other names.
(Which many people do not see or understand) Yet even in the days of Jesus
people who were not his disciples were healing in his name.

Jesus instructed him that he was only to share what he did with others that
requested the info he was given. The why of that was easy to see and
understand. He did as the Lord told him. The reactions of “christians”
within these NG’s bore it out.

Even the “new commandment” that Jesus gave us falls upon deaf ears here.
And has for as many years as I have posted here.

While typing this the thought is constantly going through my mind, that if
Jesus was posting here he would quickly move on.

The shame of it all is that even the atheist, thanks to you, recognize the
wars that goes on between so-called christians, as they openly mock, and
rightfully so, the lack of harmony, understanding, while they see the
“christian” warfare like a cancer destroying communication of supposedly
like minded people. Satan is having a field day here, just like he does in
the churches with its various fractions.

How many see this going on, and feel totally vindicated in living their lives
without God?

Where is the shame amongst the community of so-called believers?

No small wonder that the Lord said, “Depart from me ye workers of iniquity.
I never knew you."

Well, I am not of that club, so it does not apply to me. But indeed,
sinner justifying theology and behaviour is the modern "Christian"
landscape.

No shame about the poorly treated way their regard is for the Lord. In a
"just say you are sorry" for a "piece of stupid" and "mistake" culture,
claim a doctrine, and you are saved.

Well, it doesn't work that way. Only those who love the Lord with all
their heart, soul, and mind enter the covenant.

That is another one of your manufactured ideas. You could not understand so

You are opposed to “the covenant”. If what you said were true your entire
demeanor would be transformed. You would walk in the spirit and understand
the things written in scripture in concert with the spirit of God and many

There are many of those, of which that Pastor spoke about, which included him
up to the point where he died. On his request for the second pleading he had
changed, acknowledging the truth as the Lord saw it.

Your works are your repetitive mantra about Loving the Lord with all you
heart. Etc. Yet it is impossible for you to walk the talk. You just talk the
talk, no walk with him. You cannot even explain what it means, and given that
the entire Bible is the Word of God, which can never pass away, you cannot
explain you lack of respect for it, nor even understand major portions of it.

I really hate to reiterate all these things, as they and more have been
mentioned to you countless times. But Michael, things are about to change
quickly. The full out spiritual warfare has begun. God is raising up an army
to tear down the evil, and raise a standard against it. While the Army of God
will win the spiritual battle, satan is going to do his best to delay and

I am sure he had revelation from the Lord in regards to his "good
works." However, what people say and what people do tends to be
continents apart.

When he said "try," as in "try to be righteous" though, it gave him

mind. It is, after all, the mind of God translated from the spiritual realm
to this ‘real’ world realm that we live in. The world we are most

When a person says they are "trying," they are saying "trying to be

I am approved. And I did study. I found the Author, rather, He was able
to get through to me.

Only He can tell you what the scriptures mean anyway, and more exactly
at what moment they apply according to the understanding He has revealed.

Can I say this?

The bible is a testimony, but the Lord Jesus is much more than a written
testament, He is a Person.

"Be ye perfect" means hearing Him and seeing Him in your daily life—like
finally with Job, and Peter, and Paul. Otherwise, anyone can do anything
with the scriptures, and they certainly do.

Peter had his ideas and Paul had his ideas and then what happened? Peter
wept bitterly finally really seeing and hearing the Lord, Paul on the
road to Damascus with his head full of "study" finally saw and heard the
Lord.

A man MUST have a personal relationship with the Lord to be able to see
and hear God or he is floating his own boat. Learning and study falls
woefully short because of the nature that is in man.

Here you can see he was referencing being perfect. Jesus also told us to be
perfect, he did not equate that with righteousness.

As Born Again Believers one is made righteous. And not by works. Here are a
few verses that reinforce the understandings.

Rom 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the
obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Rom 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of
righteousness.

Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the
mouth confession is made unto salvation.

In none of these verses is the flesh made righteous. We all have the same
body and soul as we did before. Only at the point of our resurrection will
the body be redeemed, made righteous, made whole with ones spirit man. Ones
spirit is made righteous, and only in there is no sin. The spirit of God that
indwells the believer cannot co-exist with evil. Just as in the Holy of
Holies in the temple so it is with ones spirit that is in our bodies, bodies
that are the “temple of God”. Not the case with heathens, carnal beings,
the unsaved.

So I have absolutely no way of accepting your hypothesis that perfection and
righteousness are one and the same.

God knows the end of the matter, but you can only see the beginning.
Esau had a choice, and so did Pharaoh.

Like with Job—the end of the matter. "My perfect and upright servant
Job," but didn't Job abhor himself and repent in dust and ashes? Yeah,
