going thru' some old stuff i found this:

bird-in-flight.vt

as expected the mail agent has stripped the escape sequence chars
that means each cursor move string 'esc'[1;1H are missing a leading
escape byte

I swapped the "12345678901234567890" with the frame number line because
that seemed better.
